The Polish Optoelectronics Committee of the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers (SEP) is organizing this year, for the thirty-second time, the nationwide Professor Adam Smoliński Competition for the best diploma theses in the field of optoelectronics.

The topics of the competition include, in particular, research on basic phenomena, materials, elements, systems and optoelectronic technologies, as well as the construction of devices and metrological optoelectronic equipment.

Applications for participation in the competition are open to people whose thesis, defended in the 2022/2023 academic year, received a distinction or a very good grade should be sent to the address of the Secretary of the Committee, Maciej Linczuk, PhD, This email address is being protected from spambots. After submitting an e-mail application, the Secretary activates the individual repository account of the Competition participant on the website of the Optoelectronics Committee http://pkopto.pl. The required documents are submitted to the account in an electronic version. If the results of the work have been published, please attach the publication files. The works must be accompanied by the documents listed in §7 of the Competition Regulations, the content of which can be found on the Committee's website. The works will be assessed by the Competition Jury - the extended Presidium of the Polish Optoelectronics Committee. The competition prizes will be funded by entities interested in the development of optoelectronics and reliably supporting our competition activities.
